La Maison d’Estang Welcome Baskets and Packs
We offer the following service to help streamline what you need to bring with you and to avoid that all too stressful rush to the shop on arrival - but don’t panic, a lot of your fresh food requirements such as bread, cheeses, meats and veggies can be bought at the superb Sunday Morning Market in the square and essentials such as soap, loo rolls, something to drink and a little bite to eat are already there. Also, if you let us know, we’ll organise a restaurant reservation for your first night.
But to avoid that initial shop...
simply send us a shopping list of your arrival requirements and off to the supermarket we will go.** Bread and milk and cheese and eggs; butter and beer, detergent or dips, soaps and soups, gel and sel, tea bags and tarts, crisps, coffee, carrots or chevre and, of course, champagne! You name it, we’ll buy it and it’ll be there when you open the door.

(plus the cost of the shopping, of course!)

Beach towels
Price - £3 per person per stay
Beach Packs – insulated bag, containers, freezer blocks, games (i.e boules), beach mats (good for four guests).

A Greeting on Arrival
Not an extra! A pleasure. So please let us know your ETA and we will strive to have a representative at the house to meet you on arrival to show you around and answer any questions. A contact number will be given so you can let us know if you’re running a little late.*
Weekly Cleaning
We can provide a mid-term cleaning of floors and the bathrooms, a once over in the kitchen and a change of sheets, towels and kitchen towels (though not the paper kind, sorry).
However, this service NOT a Maid Service. Your Washing up, your Laundering and other cleaning duties not specifically listed above are NOT included.
If you require a frequent cleaning or maid service it can be provided - as can a full time Chef, pool person, launderer or all of the above. Please contact us for prices for these extra services.
Please remember La Maison d’Estang is a self-catering house and as such should be in the same state of cleanliness when you leave as it was when you arrived!
Mid-term cleaning £100**
Please Note :
* A clear Estimated Time of Arrival and a mobile phone number is required for this service as Greeters are unable to wait more than two hours after the ETA. Obviously things change and the unexpected sometimes happens, plane’s delayed or traffic’s heavy, we understand. But should guests find themselves unable to meet their arranged arrival time or expect delays, greeting times can be rescheduled given a minimum of two hours notice. A phone number will be given for that purpose.
** The mid-term cleaning service should be arranged at least two weeks before arrival. An extra fee of £20 will be added for this service if booked during the rental period.
*** Fresh perishables such as meat and fish cannot be provided. Please be aware that it is not always possible to provide products from specific manufacturers. Organic products can be supplied if requested depending on availability at point of order assembly.
In Need Of Extra Space?
No problem! It may be possible to rent further accommodation nearby for two or three people. A mere two minutes walk away is a self-contained, fully furnished, centrally-heated one bedroom apartment (pictures left and below) with kitchen and laundry facilities and it's own entrance independent from La Maison d’Estang.
The apartment is perfect for a short and inexpensive stay out of season while house hunting, for those traveling with staff or simply extra space for larger parties. It can be rented for a minimum of one week (even during High Season) but longer lets are possible.
